There are five prestigious AOC Fiefs Vendéens: Brem, Chantonnay, Mareuil, Pissotte and Vix. These terroirs have been singled out for their unique character.

Vineyard Tours
Most estates offer guided tours where you can discover not only the history of local viticulture but also the secrets behind wine production. Visit the Saint-Nicolas estate in Brem-sur-Mer, just 20 minutes by car from your campsite. The estate offers a variety of experiences: a guided tour to learn about the estate and the winemaking profession, an escape game, wine and chocolate tastings, and wine and cheese pairings.
The bonus? The estate strives to work biodynamically, respecting the land and the environment. Tours are also available in English for international visitors.
For a more inland excursion, our team recommends a visit to the Mourat Vineyard in Mareuil-sur-Lay-Dissais. A wonderful day trip by bike or electric car through the vineyards, countryside, and estate. The package includes a picnic with local, fresh products and an initial wine tasting! A unique way to explore the world of wine in true Vendée style.
Wine Tastings
Straight from the campsite shop! The team at Pin Parasol offers a weekly tasting session of local wines and beers every July and August. These tastings are sometimes accompanied by local cheeses and cured sausages! Ask our team for more details during your stay at the campsite.
Local Markets
Come and wander through the various local markets; you'll discover local wines and meet the artisans of the region. These moments are a great opportunity to immerse yourself in the local culture and treat yourself to a taste of Vendée's wines.
