The Elephant
This is undoubtedly the centrepiece of the Machines de l’île.
Standing 12 metres tall and weighing around 48 tonnes, this majestic mechanical elephant can carry up to 50 passengers on its back for a ride around the site.
Made from wood and metal, it is animated by hydraulic pistons that bring it to life. The elephant moves with unprecedented grace, its trunk spraying refreshing jets of water into the air, while its large ears sway to the rhythm of its steps.
Travelling around the site on the back of this giant is an adventure where the fantastical becomes reality, and it will be one of your best holiday memories at Le Pin Parasol campsite! Your children's eyes will light up!
The Marine World Carousel
Extend your visit! On the banks of the Loire, just steps from the mechanical gallery, a giant carousel 25 metres high, unique in its kind, immerses you in an enchanted world inspired by marine creatures.
